My Favorites about the Wedding

1) Pachelbel's Canon in D
2) the ceremony was in English & Italian (which is the sexiest language on earth)
3) the simple, yet gorgeous dress
4) the love that was all around
5) people being genuinely happy
6) raw emotion
7) all the slideshows
8) the relaxed atmosphere
9) the ringbearer chasing his family down the aisle not wanting to be left out
10) them getting smart and taking all formal photos before the ceremony

And I just have to say, the photographer missed some things that I mostly certainly wouldn't have.

There are no pictures from the day because I left my camera at home (on purpose) because I knew that I would want to get in the photographer's way and that was not appropriate.

The reason the ceremony was also in Italian is because the groom is from Italy having never been to the US until a few weeks ago. The bride lived in Italy from about 2004-2007 and that's where they met. What's cool is that I lived in Florence during the fall of 2006 and actually met him there. When my parents came at the end of the semester, we all met up for dinner at a pizzeria in Scandicci. So I thought it was cool that I met him long before anyone else at that wedding did.

Do I Have What It Takes...

Do I have what it takes to be a lifestyle photojournalistic photographer?

Christmas

It's too cold to go outside today so I got to playing around with what I've recently learned about exposure. Keep in mind, I'm still learning...

Editing

Seriously, there is nothing better than editing photos while listening to Christmas music. I just love working on my photos, especially when the couple was so great with the camera. More to come from the Tiffany and Randall shoot....

Can I just say that I love shooting couples who aren't afraid to show off how much the love each other?! GO PDA!!

Tiffany & Randall Sneak Peek

Tiffany & Randall wanted to do their photo shoot in downtown Denver. So I drove around the day before the shoot trying to find some colorful buildings. They were fun to shoot especially after Randall chilled out.

These photos are almost completely un-edited.
